Karen Wilson-Robinson, Esq.

Karen Wilson-Robinson is an experienced litigator who honed her skills at several big law firms before transitioning to private practice. Her practice is focused on general litigation, corporate formation, trademark prosecution and litigation, patent prosecution and litigation, intellectual property counselling, residential real estate and copyright registration and litigation.

Karen is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). Karen is also called to the Bar in Jamaica W.I.

Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St Francis College and a J.D. from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law. She is a member of the New York City Bar Association and sits on the Patents Committee where she teaches patent litigation to law clerks for several judges throughout the United States.

Currently, Karen serves as Vice-Chair of Team Jamaica Bickle, Inc., the leading organization in sports, providing support services for Caribbean athletes, particularly Jamaicans who compete at the annual Penn Relays Carnival. Karen is also President of the Immaculate Conception High School Alumnae Association New York Chapter, which fundraises to provide scholarships and to assist students at her alma mater. Karen sits on the Board of the Dominic Alessandro James Foundation domiciled in Jamaica, in honor of Dominick James, a promising young footballer who lost his life while playing a Manning Cup match for his school St. Georges College.

Some of Karen's other volunteer engagements included AEMT and EMT with the Port Jefferson Volunteer Ambulance Corp from 1990 through 1999, where she also taught First Aid, Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support classes. During 9/11, Karen volunteered with the American Red Cross where she was primarily responsible for transporting volunteers into and out of the disaster site and for distributing supplies to the volunteers tasked with the recovery efforts.

Karen is the recipient of the UJAA Service to Our Youth Award 2015; JAMCCAR Trailblazing Women in Law Award 2021; and 2C2W Community Impact Award 2024. In her spare time, Karen enjoys reading, gardening, playing tennis and travelling to explore new countries.
